I am a Sports Massage Therapist, registered with the Sports Therapy Organisation, offering sports and remedial massage therapy to professional athletes, sportspeople and anyone who feels they could benefit from a sports massage.
I am a fully qualified sports massage therapist, having gained my Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy through Sports Performance Services (SPS).
I am a full member of the Sports Therapy Organisation (STO) as well as a Registered Professional Team Practitioner.
I am First Aid qualified to a high standard and professionally insured.
I have experience working with many private clients in Britain and Australia, as well as:
I was a member of City of Newport Swimming Club from the age of eight to sixteen years old. As part of the team, I was involved in many team galas and events, including qualifying for the '02, '03 and '04 Welsh National Championships, both at team and individual level.
I was a member of the Welsh Ladies underwater hockey team and was selected for the G.B. under 19s team.
Whilst in Australia in '08 and '09 I qualified as a surf lifeguard with Surf Life Saving Queensland. I completed time trials in swimming, running and board paddling, as well as medleys, to Gold Medallion standard to achieve my SLSA Bronze Medallion Award. I then went on to work for SLSQ in Airlie Beach, which required constant training and frequent proficiency tests.
I am a keen snowboarder, and go as often as I can, worldwide. I have also been involved in many athletic events, casually competing in long distance track events, javelin, high jump and relays, but competing in long jump and 200m to county standard.
